Have you heard of the file extensions .MAN? How about .MAGIC? Sounds weird and uncommon.

They are both filename extensions and used in the programs which runs in computers. There is explanation and information available for many of those file extensions which you are looking for. Has a neat and clean layout and also has an easy navigation.
