Some time back a guy named as Azmi better known as Sunny or the man behind the blog desinotes.com ordered a review by the great dot com moghul ,(I hope you all understood) . At that time he made the great moghul made his rankings go to the top levels . If you dont believe me look at the image which i am showing you .

Sunny claimed that he made a good choice in ordering a review by Johnchow , yes he did he not only spent 400$ on a 500-600 words review but also he spent his time in researching the lot of things he could have done in his blog .

Now my question is ….. Is it good that you are spending a $400 in just a single review . When there are some bloggers like me who are starting their Blogging Career from last month or so they are not given any chance but they are not even given any preference . Even they are not reviewed by some of the bigger names.

Now leave this thing i don’t want any review from any body , I will come to the topic i was mentioning that what is the benefit of spending $400 when you get nothing in return . For this i will show some graphs as well taken from Alexa .

First of all lets look at the last 3 months graph of the sites which johnchow has reviewed (As far as i know)

Now as far as you can see in the graph , the graph is taken from the figure on 30 June 2007 and the ranks has been degrading for the Guy i am talking about . Some of the side effect that i think of the $400 Reviews are

• Increased traffic rankings for the instant
• Increased Revenue for Instant(Nobody will say it bad)
• Increased Cost of Advertising($400)
• High Cost per Visitor
• Not so high income to get all those what you have spent.
• Traffic deterioration after some time.

Please don’t think sunny that i am criticizing your decision to have your Blog reviewed by an expert but in my view that $400 which you spent went nowhere .

Conclusion :

Well if you have enough money then you can spend any amount of money on advertising of your blog . What is a Blog ? Answer is simple - Blog is a online journal where we keep our thoughts alive and they come in handy at time when we need them . Now a days blogging is done to do the above mentioned thing but mainly it is done to get paid. It is what most of the bloggers do whether it is the great moughul {Whatever his title is } he writes about his car purchase and then people read it , He writes about his new Bathroom people tend to read that as well . What is Blogging then . Is Blogging a peice of Sh** . Advertising yes i have also used adsense on my blog and i am even desperate to earn some money , that money to incur cost of my hosting expenses because i am from India where Internet has not still evolved , it is like a kid . Well i will earn those money so that i will be able to pay the hosting service another term or year of my hosting fees but the conclusion is that we should use the free services like Reviewback in which you don’t have to pay anything and you get reviewed by somebody as well.

Last but not the least .

No body should be angry with me because i have written something which i liked and this is a rule that we can write anything in our blog . Even you have a right to write about me in your blog . I will not discourage you , you can write +ves or -ves about my blog . Anything .
